BBC India and Darpana come together to celebrate the Indian women in sports on the 8th of March, International Women's Day, with a dance video choreographed by Mallika Sarabhai, music composed and sung by TM Krishna and conceived, shot and edited by Yadavan Chandran.
The piece is based on the English Poem by Mala Thapar aka Matahari and translated into Tamil by Kavitha Muralidharan.
